5 cool things you can do on your Xbox

#1 - Watch Netflix and Hulu Plus streaming instant! You will need to pay for an Xbox Live Gold membership as well as monthly Netflix membership and Hulu Plus membership. But Xbox is constantly giving tons of discounts on their memberships and Netlfix is only $7.99 a month and Hulu Plus $8.99. Since both combined give you access to tons of television shows and movies you can pretty much start planning to cut off that cable service which is a lot more expensive than all these memberships combined.

#2- You can listen to any streaming music or radio on Last FM via Xbox. Again you will need an Xbox Live Gold account but the Last FM account is free. Last FM is basically the same as Pandora Radio which people tend to be more familiar with.

#3 - Your Xbox can write its own blog! Yes ladies and gentlemen the people over at 360Voice have found a way that every time you play a game, your Xbox writes a blog about it here. The account is absolutely free and its really funny to see the stuff that is written. The downside is it only writes a blog when you play a game not when you do anything else.

#4 - You can connect your Xbox to two screens at once. If you’ve got one of the component/composite dual video cables – the one that comes in the box with most 360s – you can have your console display its gamey goodness on two TVs simultaneously.

#5 - Play your own music in original Xbox games. That you can fire up your own MP3s during a 360 game is common knowledge but it doesn’t work if you’re playing a title from the original Xbox. To get around that just start playing your album or playlist before you load the game, and it’ll keep on playing once you do fire the title up. You will have to mute the game's music manually.
